The NW Motors Story

NW Motors has worked in Hong Kong's vehicle recycling and dismantling industry for many years. In the early days we mainly provided recycling and parts dismantling services to dealers, garages and others in the trade, building hands-on experience. We later extended the service to individual car owners, using an online platform to provide more direct quotes and arrangements.

We operate our own large physical scrap yard and towing fleet, so vehicles are not passed on, and quotes can be explained clearly.

Fewer intermediaries — quotes and procedures explained clearly

We handle vehicles at our own site with our own towing fleet, so your vehicle is not passed to third parties. On handover we verify details such as the chassis number and issue a vehicle destruction certificate (scrapping certificate) in the EPD-prescribed format, which you then use to cancel the registration with the Transport Department.

We quote the real price online and do not reduce it without cause once the vehicle has been checked on site. Fees are itemised clearly — the agreed quote is what you are paid.

Quick Turnaround

Send photos of your vehicle on WhatsApp and we reply with a quote as soon as possible. With our own towing fleet we arrange collection 24 hours a day across Hong Kong, aiming for same-day towing and handover.

Client Privacy

Client and vehicle records are kept confidential. Relevant copies are handled securely after the transaction is completed, and personal data is not disclosed.

ECO HANDLING

How We Handle Fluids and Parts

Vehicle recycling and dismantling involves fluids, batteries and a range of materials that must be handled under EPD guidelines to avoid environmental harm.

As a Registered Vehicle Scrapping Company under the EPD Ex-gratia Payment Scheme, we handle the following in line with those guidelines:

Hazardous fluid handlingWaste engine oil, gear oil, battery fluid and air-conditioning refrigerant are collected and processed properly, so they do not seep into soil or pollute water.
Material sorting and reuseFerrous and aluminium metals, tyres, glass and serviceable components are sorted and dismantled separately to improve the reuse of materials.

Handing the car to a registered scrap dealer means fluids and parts are sorted and handled under EPD guidelines.
